Books that changed my life

Books that changed my life

In this blog post I want to share with you the books that changed my life. This books are not the kind of books you read once and buy another one. This are the books you keep at your desk all the time. If you are serious about having success in your life you must gather the information of successful people and learn with them. I often hear people saying that a mentor is the best thing you can have to be successful and it’s true. At the same time not all of us have the opportunity to reach out and get mentors. As you became more successful you will get more opportunities to get mentors but when you are starting out it can be discouraging. The best way I found to have mentor is through books (be it physical, digital or audio books). You are the average of the 5 people you have closest to you. If you let these books teach you I believe you can find 5 mentors and move towards success. Books will not answer everything but will give you a lot and if you use that “a lot” to go you and get some experience then you will be more close to your dreams in life.

The list is not organized in any specific order because each book have it own gifts to offer. So lets dive in the Books that changed my life!

Rich Dad Poor Dad – by Robert Kiyosaki

This helped see a new world. 90% of people will never be rich or grow around rich people. This books showed me that if I want to be rich I had to change the way I think about money and assets. In this books Robert teaches 6 lessons:

  1. The Rich Don’t Work For Money
  2. Why Teach Financial Literacy
  3. Mind Your Own Business
  4. The History of Taxes and the Power of Corporations
  5. The Rich Invent Money
  6. Work to Learn Don’t Work for Money

The nice thing about Robert books is that they are not boring. He teaches with life experiences. I read this book in two days. I was hooked.

Think and grow rich – Napoleon Hill

Think and Grow Rich has been called the “Granddaddy of All Motivational Literature.” This was the firt book of self-development and sucess that I bought. I still have it on my desk today. Is such a great book that is still actual and was published in 1937. Crazy 🙂
In the original Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937, Hill draws on stories of Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles. In new updates includes sotries from successfull people such as Bill Gates, Mary Kay Ash, Dave Thomas, and Sir John Templeton. A must read.

This is such a great book that after reading it I was completly blown out. I never thought that you could learn how to make good relationships and influence people in a positive way.
I already read this book 3 times. I am planning to read it one more until the end of this year and trough out my whole life. After you read this book and study it you will see an increase of real relationships and leadership. Belive me!

Where one begins when talking about Brian Tracy?! His products are some of the best products of self-development I have ever seen and they are so many that is hard to just pick one. But there is one that stood out to me.

Accelerated Learning Techniques

This product shows how to access your full mind potential. The tools that are presented in this product are the best to learn. I still wonder why they are not taught in schools?!
The meditation exercises are the best for me.
